Do you have a passion for writing? Do you have a passion for travel? Do you have a lot to say but can’t quite reach a mass audience? Are you interested in sharing your experience of Malaysia, or of your travels outside of Malaysia with the world? Do you want to write for allMalaysia.info?

Well, if you answered yes to three or more of the above questions, you may be exactly the kind of person we’re looking for.

Guidelines

As a potential guest writer you should be aware of the following:

• Stories must be original work, written by you either for your personal website/blog or specifically for allMalaysia.info. In other words, it shouldn’t be a story that has been submitted for publication or has been published elsewhere.
• We will link to your personal website/blog if you have one, but only if you request for it.
• We retain the right to edit your work to suit our editorial style.
• You will be credited with a byline.
• If you provide photos, you retain the rights to it. We may however choose to use photos from our archive with your story.
• Guest writers are not paid. However, if in time you prove to be a regular contributor, we may hire you as a freelance writer and pay you accordingly.
• Regular guest writers may be sent for ‘assignments’ which may require travelling. While you may not get an allowance for this, all other expenses (such as accommodation, or food) will be paid for in this instance.
