You may not know this, but the idea for this website was first conceived by you, our readers. Many of you, both local and foreign, have written to us, requesting for a website that’ll cover every aspect of Malaysian life – its people, culture, business, places etc. We listened, and now, we’re realising your dreams.

And who are we? We are the same people who have been providing you news about this country since 1971 via The Star, Malaysia’s premiere newspaper. We ventured into the Internet in 1995, when The Star Online was first launched.

Since then, we have come a long way. Our online venture has proven to be succesful; The Star Online has been voted as Malaysia’s most popular website numerous times and is still going strong, thanks to you. Now, after numerous feedbacks, mistakes, and successes, we’re using what we have learnt, to bring you allMalaysia.info.
